A French 75 is made with 30 ml gin, 15 ml lemon juice, 10 ml simple syrup and 60 ml champagne or sparkling wine. Shaken and served in a flute.

Named after a First World War field gun, the French 75 is a gin sour crowned with champagne. Light on its feet, with more punch than you'd think.
