An Aviation is made with 50 ml gin, 10 ml maraschino liqueur, 5 ml crème de violette and 15 ml lemon juice. Shaken and served in a coupe.
Gin, lemon and maraschino, tinted pale lilac by a touch of crème de violette. A pre-Prohibition New York classic that tastes as delicate as it looks.

Garnish Maraschino cherry
Preparation
- Shake with ice.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
