A Mai tai is made with 40 ml dark rum, 20 ml white rum, 15 ml triple sec, 15 ml orgeat syrup and 25 ml lime juice. Shaken and served in an old fashioned glass.

Two rums, orange liqueur, almond orgeat and lime over crushed ice. The original mai tai isn't a fruit punch — it's nutty, tart and rum-forward.
