An Americano is made with 30 ml Campari and 30 ml sweet vermouth, topped with soda water. Built in the glass and served in a highball glass.
Campari and sweet vermouth lengthened with soda: the bittersweet apéritif Milan has poured since the 19th century, and the drink the negroni grew out of. Low in alcohol, high in refreshment.

Preparation
- Pour the Campari and vermouth over ice.
- Top up with soda water.
